WHOA CAFE

​Costi makes many works relating to his family and experience of growing up. In Whoa Café, Costi created an alternative reality where he didn’t have to work in his Father’s north London caff but instead opened his own, where artists and musicians were invited to contribute.

Andrea Phillips, Hadiru Mahdi and Eniye Kagbala were active in the space as they journeyed from London to perform. Other contributing artists made cups, places mats, film and interior design.
